The IS-IS Routing Protocol is extremely important in todays Enterprise Networks as well as ISP's and/or DATA Centers
For those that are skeptical, I suggest that you open your Cisco Press Book Volume 2 to page 389 chapter 17
and read what Cisco is stating about IS-IS
You will see that if Cisco puts it in their book, then your employer will expect you to know IS-IS,
Although Cisco Press does not explain much about IS-IS, as a CCNA your current employer or potential employer may expect you to know it.
This is the reason for this IS-IS Workshop!
