This self-paced course takes you from first principles to a working four-router build, with a heavy emphasis on practical Cisco IOS and IOS XE configuration, including the modern address-family model for IPv6 unicast. Seven modules cover OSPFv3 fundamentals and protocol positioning, link-state mechanics and neighbor formation, base configuration, essential sub-commands such as passive-interface, cost, timers, and maximum-paths, authentication and security concepts, and a structured verification and troubleshooting sequence. Module 7 compares OSPFv3 with RIPng and EIGRPv6 so you can recognize which protocol an exam scenario is pointing toward. Every module closes with a Self-Check before you advance. The Integrated Lab brings it together: build a four-router IPv6 topology across Area 0 and Area 1, configure an ABR, make a LAN passive, manipulate cost to steer path selection, then deliberately break an adjacency through an area mismatch and diagnose it.
